WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE CLINIC On arrival you will be met by the Treatment Nurse who will confirm your appointment. She will then take you into the treatment room where your height and weight will be recorded and the urine sample that you have brought will be tested. Next you will be called to see the Diabetes Specialist Nurse who will test your blood glucose and HbA1c level. You will then see the Consultant, Podiatrist and Dietitian in turn. You should expect to be at the clinic for at least 1hour. Tea, Coffee, juice and fresh fruit is available, free of charge, in the waiting room
